A weekend of live music @ The Traf to raise money for the Remember Our Fallen Fund.
Saturday night we welcome back the brilliant Delvis Elvis and Frankie Dean for a Superheroes and 'toons fancy dress themed evening, with a fundraising auction.

Commando Speed March
Event Date: March
This has now become an established annual military event attracting over 300 entrants a year.
During the Second World War, potential British Commandos would get off the train at Spean Bridge and be expected to speed march through the Scottish Highlands to the gates of Achnacarry House carrying their fighting order weighing 36lbs.
In 2015 teams from both 2 PARA and 3 PARA took part in this event.

The Fandance is the primary event of The British Airborne Forces Club. This event is spread out over a weekend 20th May. It takes place in Brecon , South Wales. Where the club takes over the local hotels and B&Bs.
The weekend starts on the Friday, where after comrades have booked into their accommodation. They then meet up at the Brecon Rugby Club (previously the Blue Boar (for the old ones)) for drinks. There old friendships are renewed and old stories exchanged. In some case's comrades have not seen each other for decades, in others it has only been since the last Fandance. visit BAFC
The Fan Dance is a gruelling 24km non-navigational race over two sides of Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons. This infamous route has long been a part of SAS (Special Air Service) and SBS (Special Boat Service) Selection and is considered the yardstick of a candidate's potential to perform well on Test Week and ultimately pass the Special Forces Selection programme ... read more
