John's funeral took place on Thurs 22 Dec 2005 at 1530 at Portchester Crematorium, Nr Fareham, Hants and then at the Fareham Motor Boat & Sailing Club, Fareham Quay.

John's wife, Jocelyn, his son, Paul and daughter, Hannah would to thank the guys who turned out in such splendid numbers for John's funeral, Especial thanks to Messrs Clout, Whitehead and Tiernan for standard bearing so smartly and professionally and for those in the Guard of Honour.
