The Pilgrim bandits
We started up around 4 years ago made up of Ex S F members. However now we are made up from invited guests, and Challengers that have raised Sponsorship and completed one of our challengers. The charities we've helped to date include Julia Perks Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Special Air Service Regiment Association, and Help for Heroes. In 2010 we our selves will be a Charity, and being a charity will allow us to support many of the smaller Forces projects and Prosthetics development for our wounded. ... Read more

This site is dedicated to the memory of Special Forces from World War 2 to the present who served and died in places and under circumstances most of us can only imagine in our worst nightmares. My research has taken nearly 40 years and is sadly still ongoing as wars and conflicts show no sign of abating worldwide. I hope this site serves as an everlasting memorial to past, present and future Special Forces.

The Airborne Engineers Association  
The Edinburgh Branch was formed in November 1989. The "Association" is open to all personnel who have served, or are still serving, on the strength of any Airborne Engineer Unit. This also includes parachute trained Royal Engineers who have served, or at present serving with any unit, Regular/TA, which has in its order of battle a parachuting capability.

The Afghanistan Trust exists to help support soldiers who served with The Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan who have been wounded or killed as a Consequence, and their families. As members of The Parachute Regiment deploy on more operational tours in Afghanistan the need for the fund will continue to grow as more soldiers are wounded or killed.

The Pingat Jasa Malaysia 
"Pingat Jasa Malaysia" can be translated as "The Malaysian Service Medal". The medal was offered at the end of 2004 to the Commonwealth countries who served Malaysia in her fight against aggression and terrorism. Those Commonwealth countries include Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the United Kingdom and, never to be forgotten, the Gurkhas. E-Mail contact here

When we started our group jumping round military parachutes for fun and going around the world as Airborne veterans, jumping foreign courses and still wearing our old uniforms, its was shunned. Not the thing a British soldier does in retirement.

HMS Belfast served throughout the Second World War, playing a leading part in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst, and also the Normandy Landings. In service with the Royal Navy until 1965, she was saved for the nation in 1971 as a unique reminder of Britain’s naval heritage.

Shortly after becoming Prime Minister in May 1940, Winston Churchill visited the Cabinet War Rooms to see for himself what preparations had been made to allow him and his War Cabinet to continue working throughout the expected air raids on London. It was there, in the underground Cabinet Room, he announced 'This is the room from which I will direct the war'.

Welcome to the Airborne Network, a not-for-profit group of former Airborne officers and Serving Reserve Officers, which aims to support RHQ PARA and its linked Airborne Charities. This will be done by disseminating information of a social, commercial or charitable nature on behalf of RHQ PARA and the Network area representatives.

3rd Bn PARACHUTE REGIMENT - Palestine 1945-1948

Bill Watts served with 3 Para in Palestine during the period 1945-48.
He as traced and reunited about 40 members of the battalion who served in Palestine and, since 2002, He as arranged six mini- reunions. ( I say mini because, as our members are scattered all over the country, the most we have ever had on parade has been 18
